2019 Highlights

  • 2019 Highlights

Huge thanks to everyone that attended our first BorderlessLive! We hope you enjoyed the information-packed conference and seminar programme – and the fab festival atmosphere! For those who couldn’t join us, here’s a taste of what you missed:

  • Festival Exhibition

From the welcoming waft of coffee at the door, to the on-stand food and drink samples and tastings, the exhibition was a journey of the senses from start to finish. All topped off with live performances and a silent disco for a proper festival vibe!

    Community Sessions

With more than 30 sessions across two stages, we heard from some incredible creators at the top of their game: Louis Cole, Sorelle Amore and Laura Bubble to name just a few. Topics ranged from content for TikTok, pitching successfully to brands and inclusivity in content creation.

    Content Seminars

Expert influencers and speakers from top brands gave in-depth, skills-based seminars on the many different aspects of the creator industry. Sessions included film editing with Karl Watson, making sense of SEO with Laura from Make Traffic Happen - and a great product demo from Zhiyun.

  • Speed Networking

What a huge success these were! Content creators told us they loved the opportunity to connect with brands that were truly relevant to their content. These quick connections encouraged brands and creators to come up with fab ideas for ground-breaking campaigns and collaborations.

For those who didn’t want to start the day by diving straight into talking and connecting, we had the perfect solution. Yoga, mindfulness and other handy tools for visitors looking to ease in to their BorderlessLive experience and to take away useful ways of maintaining balance in their lives.

    The VIP Experience

For VIP ticket holders, our VIP Lounge provided a chilled collab space and access to happy hours during show times! With one-to-ones, channel health checks and profile photo shoots also part of the package, the VIP experience was a big success for creators looking for individual ways to up their content game.

  • Creators' Breakfast

What better way to start the day than with a breakfast for all of our content creators. In addition to delicious food, this morning get-together also provided a space to connect and share ideas with new and old friends – and to gather collectively ahead of the second day of BorderlessLive.

    Evening events

Three great and very different evenings rounded off the each day at BorderlessLive. A meetup on Thursday, a casual drink on Friday and an epic closing party in partnership with G Adventures, on Saturday.
